I can’t get enough of this show! The animation is top notched, and the music is second to none! The characters all have their own motivations on the Gekko State, yet they all have a common goal they are headed towards.

Episode Context

Three episodes in, Eureka Seven is still firmly in its setup phase. Renton has taken the pivotal step of joining Gekkostate following the events of "Blue Sky Fish," and "Motion Blue" deepens his immersion into that world, pushing past the initial encounter and into the friction of actually living within it. This episode bridges his naive arrival and the more complex relationship dynamics that will define the mid-season stretch. It directly feeds into "Watermelon," which continues exploring how Renton navigates his new, unpredictable environment.
