The film is set in a world where the collapse of a virtual world within the scub coral has led to a divided humanity. Eureka, once connected to the virtual world and now blamed for the ensuing chaos, works as a high-grade combatant for the UN's A.C.I.D. unit, seeking atonement. Her mission is to protect Iris, a young girl who possesses the ability to control the scub coral, mirroring Eureka's past. As they forge a bond, Dewey Novak, a Green Earth officer, initiates a large-scale terrorist plan to protect his people.
