"BASToF Syndrome" unfolds in Xenon, a city of 2097, where a cutting-edge cyber game pits players against each other in bio-mechanical robot battles. The game, however, harbors a dangerous secret: damage inflicted within its virtual world manifests as destruction in the real city. This unsettling connection begins with players experiencing a painful scream, a ghostly visage, and a potent lemon scent. To investigate, the game's creator recruits a "Dream Team" comprised of Xenon's three best gamers. These rebellious and arrogant teenagers must set aside their attitudes and personal fears to unravel the mystery. Their investigation promises to reveal answers far beyond the confines of the game itself, hinting at a deeper, more complex problem.
