it's a bit of a slow pace episode in regard of the personal development of the character. It intrduce a psichological aspect that affect the Alice users. It change to a different tone of the anime.

It's a decent focus once again on the relationships between Aruto, Arisu, Kiraha, and Kisa who had been caught in this love triangle. It was neat that they took the time to somewhat resolve this in a way that works for them, but arguably this episode could be a pretty good skip in my honest opinion.

Things get pretty dark here, which caught me off guard in a good way. The atmosphere is tense, and I really appreciated the deeper dive into psychology. The animation reflects this shift with darker colour palettes and heavier shading. The pace is deliberate and slow in this episode. I felt a genuine sense of unease, which shows the directing is on point.
