Synopsis
A middle-aged bachelor with a habit of using dating apps to hook up with younger women, specifically high schoolers, Katsuya is already in sketchy territory, but then things get genuinely complicated when he realizes one of the girls he's been chatting with is his own niece, Mifuyu. Yeah. That's the setup, and the OVA doesn't shy away from leaning into exactly how messy that situation gets. This is a PoRO production based on a visual novel, so you already know the production values on the character designs are solid, detailed and polished in the way their stuff usually is. The appeal here, if you're into this niche, is the tension between secrecy and taboo. It's not just scene after scene without context; there's an actual narrative thread pulling you through, with Katsuya and Mifuyu both navigating the fallout of that revelation. The dynamic between them shifts in ways that keep things from feeling static. If you've watched something like Kiken na Mori Onigokko or Notto Sexaroid Eurie and liked the way those handled darker relationship dynamics with actual story beats, this hits a similar note. Koushoku no Chuugi Kunoichi Botan is another one in the same ballpark tonally. It's provocative by design and doesn't pretend to be anything else, but if you're browsing this genre, the narrative hooks here are a cut above the usual.

good
Very nice
It is definitely trashy, but the animation quality is actually insane for a slice of life show about a guy and his sister.
The meta jokes about light novel protagonists are perfect and Matsuoka is the only person who could voice Masamune
I went into this expecting something as messy as Oreimo because of the author, but the step-sibling thing feels a bit more manageable here. Seeing Matsuoka play another light novel author is hilarious especially when Sagiri starts roasting his writing style and calling him a cliché protagonist. The reveal that she is actually drawing his books made me laugh out loud.
Sagiri looks way too cute for a shut in and the animation from A-1 Pictures is surprisingly good for this kind of show
I suspected she was the artist from the start and that livestream reveal really set the tone for their relationship
The lighting in the cafe scene looked great and the background art is much better than most of the stuff coming out lately
I went into this expecting something generic but the production quality is actually solid and the niece reveal hit hard because of how they built up his expectations on the app and then crushed them with that awkward family connection and I am definitely curious to see how he tries to talk his way out of that mess after seeing her face
The pacing feels a bit rushed, but the art style makes up for the weird plot about the uncle
You really feel the tension when he is waiting for his date and then she turns out to be family
The niece reveal creates a huge problem and the animation during that whole final sequence was super smooth
That ending transition when he sees her face is actually really well done for this genre
The guy is pretty creepy but the art is decent and the niece reveal is exactly what you expect from this kind of story
I really liked the art style for a niche title, especially the character designs for the girls he meets on the app
The animation on the date scene looked surprisingly good and the twist with the niece at the end was such a shock
That protagonist is way too old and weird looking and I hated the way they handled the dating site part
My face went red when Sagiri started streaming her art and I cannot believe they actually went there with the stepbrother reveal so early in the first episode
It is so uncomfortable watching this when you realize she is just a middle schooler, especially with the way the author handles the brother and sister stuff
