I didn't think I'd care this much about Chiaki but her struggle with the nepotism label hit me hard. Rukawa telling her to just play the cards she was dealt was the exact kind of cold advice she needed. Watching her and Koichi work together on that Weekday concept felt like the first time the show actually gave us some hope.
