A-1 Pictures handles the animation, so the action sequences look sharp and the character designs pop. Across 13 episodes, the show balances demon-slaying set pieces with relationship drama that actually moves forward rather than spinning its wheels. If you liked the supernatural harem dynamics of Date A Live or the romantic tension in Saekano but want something with a darker edge to its central romance mechanic, this hits a nice middle ground. The memory-eating kiss concept alone makes it worth the time — it turns every power-up into a genuine sacrifice.
