The transition from the lighthearted early summer stuff to this introspective parting was handled better than expected for an old school eroge adaptation. You can really feel that visual novel structure when the focus shifts to a specific girl and the drama gets heavy. It is less about the spice and more about that weirdly sad feeling when a seasonal connection ends.
