Episode Context

Coming off the group's escape from Beazon in episode 4, this fifth installment pivots to Coud's personal history, enriching his character ahead of the long road still remaining across 26 episodes. It functions as an early-season deepening episode, building emotional stakes and introducing new antagonistic forces before the journey intensifies. The groundwork laid here, particularly around trust and loyalty, directly feeds into the team dynamics and escalating threats of subsequent episodes.
