We got Rebecca and Happy's backstory. Their lore is so cute and at the same time so heartwarming. Also, the action scene is nicely done. I really like the part where Shiki was running so fast while adding side comments. That made me laugh so much.
Action packed episode! Love the flashback that would explain Rebecca's past experience. Slight fan service their but they never fail to amuse me! Including comedic scenes in a action/serious moment is a huge point for me! Overall, I enjoyed the episode bit by bit!
I ain't too sure, but I think this anime really focuses on the power of friendship. Didn't really expect Rebecca lore so soon, but I'm not complaining at all. This was a pretty fun watch. Shiki's interactions were funny, the duel was surprisingly hilarious, and I don't really blame the adventurers who found Mother ending up worshipping her; that character design is absolutely majestic.
