That was such a crazy episode! We start off at the depths of hopelessness here, with how Drakken Joe's impressive villainous aura has left its mark on Rebecca. And as the episode progressed, things started to take another turn that may just shock you as it did me. The adventure's not over yet!
That's what happens when you run into such a huge wall without a proper plan, though. I can't believe it, that even got me. OMG. Now that's a crazy way to make everything connect. I'm still trying to process it all. This overly "I'm going to save everyone" attitude sometimes drives me nuts, but the author really knows how to play his cards. Now, let our side throw their cards on the table.
One of the best thing about Drakken is the fact I can feel the fear and trauma that Rebecca is feeling that I have never felt with any other fictional villain before. The reveal of Rebecca's truth, while predictable from previous foreshadowing, is executed marvelously because I felt like I was taken into the worst case scenario with no way out. I genuinely felt being trapped which makes it scary. Her power, while incredibly OP, has the possibility of giving Rebecca emotional trauma that I hope is explored more.
