Wow, there's so many things going on for our protagonist team and it all looks dire! The matchups for each character truly makes sense at least for me, and we're bound to see some interesting changes for everyone during these battles as they go. Aside from that, the soundtrack and emotional impact of the scenes really help sell the desperate times everyone is in.

Let's see how our group overcomes these confrontations. That feeling of powerlessness has to be one of the worst things ever. We're running out of time, and they have every advantage on their side. Things are escalating in such an unexpected way, but I don't hate it. Nah, never mind. That's pretty messed up. It took a really grim turn. It's the lowest point for the crew.

Drakken Joe is such a great villain. He is principled so he is negotiable, he is threatening for how much influence and straight he has., he is domineering in his character, and morally corrupt. I have mixed feelings on the plot twist because Mashima was reusing plotlines but it doesn't stop me from becoming intrigued.
