Who would've seen that end of the episode coming? Definitely not me! Even as the arc with Drakken Joe ended, we're met with other mysteries yet to unfold. I'm sure we'll be able to get to them as more episodes are waiting to be watched next. I'm really excited to see how this all pans out for Shiki!
This is the only development I somewhat expected to happen, especially amidst such a crisis. Doubt starts to creep in, and there’s a major crossroads right in front of the story now. I’m excited to see which path it takes. Interesting developments not only for him, but for the entire crew as well. Wow, what a conclusion for this arc. In my opinion, it’s the best one so far. An amazing side story that helps us bond with the other crew members. The author is clearly plotting something huge once again. That must hurt so much. WHAT???
Chronophage is honestly one of the best fantasy plot narrative that exist. The idea that two people of different time can exist, with one witnessing the resolution of his past mistakes and regrets and so the audience can witness what Weisz is capable on his own, but also excited for what he can bring with the new possibility in his current present. All that said, Mashima is quick on dishing a new mystery and new objective on the crew surrounding Shiki and Conner.
