EPISODE REVIEWS

The miasma reveal at the end caught me off guard, did not expect the SP to actually push the main plot forward. Animation dipped a bit in the middle but the finale stretch was clean.

Episode Context

The final episode of Eclipse of Illusion SP: The Miasma War delivers a full-throttle climax built for payoff. This is a large-scale fantasy war episode anchored in collective heroism and ceremonial spectacle, prioritizing sustained combat momentum over quiet character beats or worldbuilding detours. Xihe commands the center stage as both warrior and symbol, and her confrontation with Luohou gives the broader army-versus-army chaos a focused, personal edge. The tone is urgent and heroic throughout, expect luminous sword techniques, dense magical exchanges, and tightly coordinated battlefield sequences that reward viewers who have followed the Five Clans' escalating struggle. Pacing stays relentless, and the atmosphere carries genuine weight. This is the kind of finale that justifies everything the special has been building toward.
