The animation and city backdrop still look lovely, but the episode leans too hard on awkward romance drama and does not always sell its emotional turns. There are fun bits of banter, yet the tone can get weird fast. Not terrible, just one of the season’s shakier detours.
I get why this has a low rating now. They keep doing random side quests while showing 'uncommon' love. Also, for a man that's dedicated to one girl, he has horrible boundaries and clearly isn't as loyal as he says he is.
I won't comment much on this type of relationship, but I am not a fan of it. It's just weird to me. That said, this episode is just plain stupid. Like, dude... are we deadass? Like, for real? This MC is just too stupid. With Yugure's abilities, she would've been able to deal with that anyway, kekw.
