Dropkick On My Devil!
Oshimeter
Synopsis
The demon Jashin-chan has been summoned to Earth by Yurine Hanazono, a girl with a knack for the occult. Unfortunately, Yurine does not actually know how to send Jashin-chan back to Hell. Now stuck on Earth, she must live at Yurine's apartment as her familiar. The only way for Jashin-chan to return would be to kill her summoner, but this is easier said than done for the incompetent demon. Since Jashin-chan is immortal and can regenerate her body, Yurine does not hold back in attacking her with a range of weapons, punishing her in gruesome manners for her evil schemes. Jashin-chan is also often visited by her demon friends: the kindhearted Gorgon Medusa and the energetic minotaur Minosu, who seem much more well-behaved in contrast, and disapprove of her plans to kill Yurine. Jashin-chan Dropkick is a comedy focusing on these two reluctant roommates and their bizarre antics as they get by with their cat-and-mouse relationship. [Written by MAL Rewrite]

Black Clove r is a high-energy shonen anime centered on Asta, a boy born without magic in a world where magic defines status and power. Despite this, he refuses to give up on his dream of becoming the Wizard King, relying on sheer determination and physical strength. Alongside his rival Yuno, the story explores growth, rivalry, and perseverance. The series stands out with its fast-paced battles, diverse magic abilities, and a wide cast of likable characters, especially the Black Bulls. While the early episodes can feel repetitive and Asta’s loud personality may be off-putting, the show improves significantly as it dives into deeper arcs, emotional backstories, and larger conflicts. A great pick for fans of classic underdog journeys
1-3 What do you think? Review | Dropkick > Material: - Anime: (Dropkick on my Devil!) Season 1 - Episode 3 - Manga: Chapters 16 --- The chapter begins with Minos and Beth bonding over a meal of meat. Next, we see Pekora spending Christmas alone, and things get even worse when Jashin shows up to ruin what little food he has left—but luckily, Yurine arrives and rips off his ear (honestly, Walla Sinchi would have loved to pull it out with a pair of tweezers) and, as compensation, gives him some chicken. Meanwhile, the gray-haired fairy is lying weak on the street, searching for Jashin, while the few people there don’t help her at all. The next day, Jashin decides to work out, and her arrogance gets the better of her when she asks Yurine to punch her in the toned abdomen, knocking her out with a single blow. Then Yusa comes to visit as a thank-you for taking care of her (except for the spiteful snake woman). Here we learn that Ice Devils are born as small moles until, upon reaching maturity at age 15 (according to human standards), they physically resemble humans. But Jashin makes a derogatory comment, earning her a withering glare from Yusa. (Never mess with someone’s family.) However, Yusa also shows a moment of weakness after hearing that Jashin “traumatized” Koji, causing her to sob over it. Nevertheless, despite her insistence on protecting her sister, the snake woman doesn’t understand words, so she teaches her a lesson (That’s the way to do it, Yusa). The next day, Medusa gives Jashin some money, but she complains because she didn't want Yurine to see her. Yurine tries to make Medusa see reason, telling her she shouldn't be fooled or give Jashin money, but Jashin knows no bounds. Yurine tries to make Medusa understand that Jashin isn’t responsible, but Medusa hesitates, causing Jashin to call her a traitor for trusting someone she met recently over her childhood friend of thousands of years, leading to a falling-out. Jashin starts to feel bad (until she says that Medusa is her precious “ATM,” which stands for “Automatic Teller Machine”). Then, after drinking so much she gains weight, she goes looking for Medusa in tears, and they end up reconciling by parodying the final scene of Evangelion (it’s definitely CINEMA for this tenderly toxic relationship). Jashin starts feeling bad (until he says that Medusa is his precious “ATM,” which stands for “Automatic Teller Machine”). Then, after drinking heavily until he gets drunk, he goes looking for Medusa in tears, and they end up reconciling by parodying the final scene of Evangelion (it’s definitely CINEMA). Happy ending or bad ending, it’s an ending, and that’s that.
⭐ Animation : It’s surprisingly consistent, for a show that leans so hard into meta-commentary about having no budget. ⭐ Baka : Very Baka ⭐ Seinen : not very seinen, It’s cozy violence. It actually shounen gag. ⭐ Character Rizz : The designs are top-tier. ⭐ Overall : ❤️Nice ❤️, It’s the perfect junk food anime. You don't watch it for the plot, complex themes, or other elitist buzzwords; you watch it to keep yourself going through wretched days. However, it has an unexpected amount of depth for a silly slice-of-life from the lore to character depths and relation to history and the worldbuilding elements, and while it's soft worldbuilding, it’s still much more detailed than I expected. ⭐ Watch if : - You like seeing viper girl sliced into sashimi after a failed dropkick attempt - You like Protagonist who is a gambling addict, a pathological liar, and a coward who would sell her best friends - You like slapstick and meta comedy - You like deconstruction of "summoned creature(?)" trope. (I'm kidding lol) ⭐ My Top 5 favorite characters: (1) Yurine Hanazono : I just like witches (2) Medusa : The ultimate enabler (3) Pekola : Representative of the working class (4) Jashin Chan : She's actually a very complex character (5) Satan : The trivia drops are unironically one of the best parts of the show.
