EPISODE REVIEWS
In this episode, we are introduced to three D-Pilots: Jimmy, Morris, and Penguin, all three of which have been sent to Gifu for training missions. They have their own dragons and personalities, with Jimmy probably being my favorite of the three. The episode relatively slow at first, but it does pick up the pacing once they take flight in the training mission. Still a great episode that brings plenty of action.
This episode is the joint training exercise arc, which introduces three new female pilots from different bases across Japan, with their own distinctive dragon. Also, the show shows a fresh high flying action that leaves me eager to see how this team will eventually come together.
Episode 4 really expands the squad, and the new pilot personalities bounce off Hisone in fun ways. Eru stood out the most. The dragon moments hit harder.
