Bulma literally poked the ball with a stick and watched it roll deeper instead of just grabbing it and that whole underwater submarine scene felt like such a waste of time

Seeing Bulma poke that Dragon Ball into deeper water instead of grabbing it was the most frustrating thing and it ruined the tension of the Frieza scenes

The moment Gohan and Krillin reached the Grand Elder felt massive for the story and it really helps build the anticipation for what the kid can actually do

My patience was really tested with that crab nonsense because it felt like Bulma was intentionally being slow, but the stuff with Guru saved it for me and I think seeing Gohan get his power boosted is going to change everything on Namek, since Frieza is already blowing up mountains just because he is annoyed about the missing Dragon Balls

It is such a contrast seeing Goku push his body to the limit in 100x gravity and then cutting back to Bulma being useless underwater

I loved seeing Krillin rush Gohan over to the Elder and the way they are finally making moves while Frieza is busy throwing a tantrum

Why did we have to spend half the episode watching Bulma deal with a giant crab and its eggs when the actual plot is happening elsewhere

You can really tell Frieza is losing his mind with how he just started blowing up the planet and those poor Namekians cannot catch a break

The 100x gravity training is intense and Goku looks like such a beast of a fighter, and it makes the threat of Frieza feel even more dangerous

I am so hyped that Gohan is finally getting his potential unlocked by Guru and it makes all that waiting in the earlier episodes worth it

That entire underwater sequence with the crab felt like such a waste of time and Bulma just kept pushing the ball further away for no reason

Hearing that the Ginyu Force is actually on their way to Namek makes you wonder how the guys will even survive since Frieza is already terrifying on his own

The realization that Gohan is about to get his potential unlocked by Guru is the only thing that kept me through those submarine scenes and the giant pearls

It was pretty frustrating to see Bulma lose the dragon ball to a sea monster, but the anticipation for Gohan meeting Guru kept the momentum going for me.

I felt a genuine sense of dread when the Ginyu Force got mentioned because they are supposed to be the best of the best and the Namek saga is really heating up

Bulma chasing a giant crab while Krillin and Gohan are literally trying to save the universe is such a strange tone shift and it really slowed the episode down

Frieza losing his patience and finally calling for the Ginyu Force makes the stakes feel so much higher, especially since the heroes are still so far behind.

Frieza is getting so scary now that he is summoning the Ginyu Force and you can tell the Z fighters are in for a rough time

I was genuinely stressed when Frieza mentioned the Ginyu Force is on the way because that elite squad is no joke and I really did not care for the Bulma stuff with the giant crab and the pearls though since it felt like a weird distraction from Gohan and Krillin finally making it to the eldest Namekian for that potential unlock

The way Bulma lost that dragon ball because she was messing around with a stick was the most annoying thing ever and she just made everything way harder for no reason

EPISODE CONTEXT

Episode 59 sits in the middle stretch of the Namek saga, following Gohan and Krillin's strategic maneuvering against Vegeta and providing a deliberate cooldown before tensions ramp back up. It bridges the gap between the tactical groundwork of the previous episode and the events of 'Bulma's Big Day,' funneling the narrative back toward the main conflict. This is a connective tissue episode—low on action but essential for maintaining the saga's pacing and expanding Bulma's role on Namek.
