I liked seeing Krillin finally get some respect and that power boost looked so intense and I hope he can actually hold his own against Vegeta or someone else now that he has that ball

Guru is such a giant but he seems so kind and the way he just touched Krillin on the head and made him that much stronger is crazy and now I really want to see Gohan get his turn

Guru acting like the ultimate grandfather while he unlocks that dormant energy in Krillin was such a massive moment for the team

I found it really interesting when Guru mentioned that Gohan has even more hidden power than Krillin, which really makes me wonder how strong he can actually get if he finally lets loose, and seeing Frieza start to lose his cool over this whole legendary super saiyan thing makes the atmosphere on Namek feel so much more dangerous and heavy now

The size of Guru is honestly surprising, and the fact that he just has a dragon ball sitting there is even crazier

I really appreciated that Krillin finally got some respect and his power jump is going to be so helpful for the group

The voices and music changing suddenly is kind of jarring and it makes the show feel totally different but the plot is still moving along

Frieza being scared of a legend while Goku is just snoring in space is hilarious because he has no idea what is coming

That prophecy about the super saiyan is finally starting to feel real and the way Frieza is stressing about it is great

Getting that last dragon ball felt like such a huge win and now everything depends on Gohan getting his turn with the big guy

I was actually worried for a second that Guru was going to be a bad guy but he is just a giant sweet old man who helps everyone

Guru touching Krillin on the head and suddenly his energy is through the roof is such a cool way to keep the humans relevant on Namek

Grand Elder Guru is such a cool addition to the series because he adds so much weight to everything happening on Namek and seeing him wake up Krillin was such a huge win for the humans and Krillin has been struggling so much lately so seeing him get that glow and that massive boost of power was great and he better protect that ball

Frieza being afraid of a Super Saiyan is the first time he has looked even a little bit worried and it makes the whole trip to Namek feel worth it for the Z fighters

Adjusting to the new voices for the characters is a bit of a shock but the story is getting so good that it does not even matter because Krillin is finally a heavy hitter

I seriously can't wait for Gohan to get his power unlocked next because if Krillin got that much stronger, then Gohan is going to be a total menace once his hidden potential comes out

Hearing Guru confirm that Kami is a Namekian was such a surprise, and now there is so much more pressure to find the rest of the balls before Guru dies and they all disappear

The fact that Guru is so close to death makes everything on Namek feel way more stressful and it sucks that the dragon balls might just vanish if they do not hurry up and find them

That moment where Frieza mentions the Super Saiyan legend felt so ominous because it makes you wonder if that is what Goku is going to become by the time he lands on Namek

It felt like a huge responsibility when Guru handed that one star ball to Krillin and I am actually scared for him now that he has to avoid Vegeta while carrying it

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off the brutal surprise attack from Zarbon, this episode shifts gears to focus on preparation and empowerment, marking a key turning point in Krillin's role during the Namek saga. It bridges the gap between the early survival-focused episodes on Namek and the escalating power struggles that define the arc's second half. The developments here directly set the stage for the heroes to stand a fighting chance against Frieza's increasingly dangerous forces.
