EPISODE REVIEWS

Vegeta officially quitting the Frieza Force was great because he just went rogue to find the dragon balls for himself instead of following orders like a dog

Episode Context

Sitting at episode 45 of 291, this falls squarely in the Namek saga's rising action, following 'Brood of Evil' where the threat landscape was established and multiple antagonists converged on the same goal. 'Frieza Strikes!' deepens the factional chaos and sets the chessboard for 'Defying Orders,' where the consequences of these power plays begin to cascade. This is a pivotal connective episode that transitions from setup into genuine multi-front conflict.
