I really don't know how to feel about Goku letting him go because Vegeta is clearly a monster and he killed Piccolo and the others. Krillin had every right to end it right then with that sword, but Goku just thinks differently than anyone else. It reminds me of what happened with Piccolo so maybe it works out

Vegeta getting absolutely flattened by Great Ape Gohan was the highlight for sure and that kid has way more power than people think and seeing the prince struggle was satisfying after the long fight
