Kibito is back and he went straight for Supreme Kai without wasting any time because that dude is loyal and Buu is still out there just wrecking cities so it feels so hopeless right now

Goku mentions this Fusion thing from Otherworld, and it sounds like a total game changer. If Goten and Trunks can actually pull that off, then maybe we have a chance against Majin Buu

I am so stressed out about Gohan because the wish should have brought him back if he was dead and Goku saying he is the last hope makes me think he is still alive somewhere

The choice to save the second wish was smart and now the balls will be ready in four months instead of a year and Bulma is the only one thinking about the long game here

The whole concept of Fusion has my head spinning, because it sounds like such a weird idea for this show. I think Goku put a huge responsibility on the kids though. Majin Buu is basically a force of nature at this point and seeing the heroes struggle to come up with a new plan for the Earth feels very different than the usual battles

Hearing Goku say he cannot beat Buu alone was heavy because he usually has a plan but this time it feels like the stakes are way too high for just him

Buu is just a giant kid and that makes him even scarier because you cannot predict what he will do and one minute he is playing and the next he is turning people into food

Yamcha actually did something useful and brought everyone back and it feels weird that Vegeta stayed dead but I guess he did just murder a whole stadium of people so it makes sense

Seeing Goku get serious about training the boys with that new Metamoran technique gives me hope they can actually stop Buu

Piccolo being so blunt about Vegeta going to hell was better in the original, because the dub makes it sound like a generic punishment

Why did Goku just give up on using the last wish and turn the balls back to stone when they could have helped more

My head hurts trying to figure out how many wishes are left but at least the people Vegeta killed are back

The idea of two people merging into one fighter is the coolest thing this show has done in a long time

I feel so conflicted because seeing Buu just mess around at the theme park was hilarious, but the stuff with the Dragon Balls makes no sense. One minute we only have two wishes for mass revivals and now they are talking about three. Dende needs to explain the rules better because I am getting lost with how these wishes work now

Bulma bringing everyone back was such a relief and now we can finally get Goten and Trunks ready to fight

The dub totally butchered what Piccolo said to Vegeta and it ruins the whole scene where he finds out his soul is getting erased

Buu eating a roller coaster was pretty funny but it felt like the episode stopped moving just to show us some filler

I really loved seeing Goku explain the fusion dance and it feels like the kids are actually going to be useful for once

I was impressed by the plan to save the dragon ball wishes for later because that is the smartest plan we have seen in a while

Gohan being missing still is a major concern because nobody knows where he actually ended up after the fight with Buu

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting at episode 240 of 291, this installment falls squarely in the latter half of the Buu Saga, where the conflict against Majin Buu has escalated beyond what any single fighter can handle and the Z Fighters are exhausting every option available. Previous episodes have built toward increasingly desperate measures, with allies falling and strategies failing against Buu's overwhelming power. 'Revival' sets the stage for the saga's climactic stretch, positioning key players for the final confrontations that will define the series' endgame.
