Having Gohan stand there with one arm against that monster is the most desperate thing ever and the plot armor on Cell is just insane right now

Trunks is dead, and Gohan is severely injured because he had to save Vegeta from a blast. It feels like the stakes just tripled because they are out of senzu beans, and Cell is somehow even stronger than before he blew himself up. Seeing the Prince of Saiyans finally show emotion was huge, but now they are all probably going to die.

Watching Vegeta drop his pride to avenge his son was a massive moment for his character, but it sucks that he just got swatted away. My heart sank when I saw Gohan take that hit for him.
