I can't believe Tien actually held back Cell like that and he really almost killed himself just to give 18 a chance to run away

Tien is basically a legend for spamming those tri-beams and watching him keep going while his life force drained away was heavy to watch

Tien was so cool when he just kept spamming the tri beam even though he knew it might kill him and I love how annoyed Cell was getting since he thought Tien was beneath him

Tien just dumping every bit of his life force into those blasts and screaming at 18 to run was pure grit and it worked way better than expected

Goku being back on his feet and saving his friends right before Cell finished them off was the exact kind of momentum shift this arc needed

I honestly did not think Tien had that kind of power left in him but seeing him keep Cell pinned in that crater while Android 18 escaped was such a massive moment for his character, and I am so glad Goku showed up right at the end to save him and Piccolo because losing them both would have been too much

The sheer willpower it took for Tien to keep firing those shots while his life was draining away made him the biggest hero on the planet today

Watching Vegeta and Trunks train in the chamber makes the wait for them to come out and humble Cell feel so much longer and more intense

It was honestly insane seeing Tien Shinhan go that hard against someone like Cell, especially after everyone thought the humans were totally useless now

Tien actually makes me care about the humans again because that sacrifice play had so much weight behind it and I forgot how much he changed since the old days

Cell is getting way too arrogant and seeing him just get pinned in a hole by Tien was the best part of the whole week

Goku showing up with instant transmission was such a relief because Piccolo and Tien were definitely about to be toast

I literally screamed when Tien started spamming those Tri-Beams and he actually held Cell down for so long even though it was killing him

Tien putting everything into those blasts was so stressful to watch because you could see his life fading. Cell being stuck in that crater was the most satisfying thing after he absorbed 17

Watching Tien stand his ground against someone as terrifying as Semi-Perfect Cell was something else, especially when he started spamming those Tri-Beams until his heart nearly stopped. It really captured that feeling of his sacrifice against Nappa back in the day. Goku showing up with Instant Transmission was the perfect way to end that tension before things got even worse.

I feel like people forget how cool Tien is until he does something like this. Seeing him stand up to Cell reminded me why he was such a threat back in the original series

It is wild how much damage Tien takes just to buy a few minutes for the androids. You can tell he knew he was going to die and he did it anyway

I was shocked that the Kikoho actually kept Cell down. Seeing a human hold back a monster like that was the highlight of the whole arc for me so far

The sheer scale of those Tri-Beam blasts was insane, and watching Tien literally life-force himself to death just to stall for time was heavy. He really gave it everything today.

Cell looked so frustrated getting slammed into the ground over and over. It felt like Tien was finally getting some respect after being sidelined for so long since the Nappa fight
