Episode Context

At episode 138 of 291, Dragon Ball Z is deep into the Android/Cell saga, a stretch where Goku and his allies face threats that future Trunks warned them about, and the situation is rapidly spiraling beyond anyone's predictions. Previous episodes have established the terrifying scope of these new enemies, and 'Closing In' pushes that momentum forward as the saga accelerates toward its most critical confrontations. This episode serves as connective tissue between earlier reveals and the explosive set pieces still to come.
