Episode Context

Coming off the jarring sequence where Gohan's energy was forcibly drained, this episode pivots from reactive combat to proactive investigation, giving the heroes, and the audience, essential context about the Majin threat's true scope. Sitting early in the 61-episode run, it functions as a critical narrative bridge that transforms a vague menace into a defined, terrifying antagonist with deep history. The groundwork laid here directly fuels the escalating confrontations and difficult choices the cast will face in the episodes immediately ahead.
