Episode Context

This is the fifth episode of The Final Chapters, still firmly planted in the World Martial Arts Tournament setup that dominates the season's opening stretch. Previous episodes established Goten and Trunks tearing through the Junior Division bracket with ease, building toward this inevitable showdown. The outcome of their match and the transition into the adult division, where far greater threats lurk, follows immediately after, making this a pivotal bridge between lighthearted tournament fun and the darker Buu Saga events ahead.
