Episode Context

Sitting past the halfway mark at episode 37 of 61, this installment arrives at a critical inflection point in the Buu saga where the villain's own internal conflict reshapes the entire battlefield. Previous episodes established the split between Good Buu and Evil Buu, and this episode delivers the consequences of that divide with a transformation that raises the stakes dramatically. It directly sets the stage for the protagonists' desperate countermeasures and the intense confrontations that define the back half of The Final Chapters.
