Episode Context

Sitting at the midpoint of the Final Chapters, episode 35 is firmly in the buildup phase following Gotenks' initial fusion debut and the growing Majin Buu threat. It deepens the parallel power-up tracks, Gohan's slow-burn awakening and Gotenks' rapid evolution, that will converge into the saga's next major confrontations. The groundwork laid here, both in raw combat potential and character relationships, directly feeds into the escalating showdowns ahead.
