Episode Context

Sitting at episode 13 of 61, this lands squarely in the World Martial Arts Tournament portion of the Buu Saga, following the chaotic Battle Royal that thinned the field. While the tournament fights provide spectacle and comic relief, the real threat, Babidi's machinations aboard his spaceship, is quietly building in the background, and this episode bridges the gap between lighthearted competition and the much heavier confrontations to come.
