Episode Context

This episode lands in the direct aftermath of Vegeta's possession, expanding the antagonist's reach from a single powerful warrior to an entire planet's worth of threats. It marks a tonal escalation in the arc, shifting the conflict from one-on-one confrontations to something far more pervasive and disorienting for Goku. The stage is being set for deeper revelations about the enemy's power ceiling and the growing limits of Goku's own transformations.
