Episode Context

Coming off Episode 21's confrontations with Machine Mutants, this episode marks the true turning point of GT's opening saga. Dr. Myuu's endgame is finally unveiled with the emergence of Baby, the antagonist who will define the next major stretch of the series. What began as a Dragon Ball hunt through space now pivots sharply toward a larger, more sinister threat. Everything that follows in GT flows directly from what is set in motion here.
