The talk at the end did not have to hit that hard! It really put into perspective how much humans have lost since the petrification beam. I would've been crying too.. I forgot how serious Ginro was at first too, he was genuinely so much better back then :((

I did NOT like Chrome at first, he was so prideful and had preconceived ideas about Senku. I was surprised when the series started making him so likeable, like the switch up was crazy from a comedic relief character to a serious companion in Senku's world of science.

This episode was so fun! Not only is there a whole new premise and promising 'mission' for the next few episodes, but also an entire civilization. The villagers we've been introduced to so far are so quirky and fun, they're amazing additions to the main lineup.

New characters were introduced in this episode. We've now seen the people of Kohaku, who seem to have no knowledge about the past technological advancement of humanity. We're also introduced to Chrome, who calls science as sorcery.

Senku is officially back, and the internet is cheering. That neck-crack revival was peak science fiction. Now we meet Kohaku—she’s a total badass. The animation during her fight with Tsukasa was sharp. This show just keeps leveling up.

Episode 7 shifts focus to the emotional side of survival, especially through Chrome and the Villagers. I liked how it shows the long passage of time and how humanity adapted in unexpected ways. The episode feels meaningful because it connects science and human history and legacy.

This one made me realize how much we take modern stuff for granted. Something basic becomes a massive goal. It’s weirdly exciting watching them level up civilization one tiny step at a time.

Gen’s finger guns and magician hands when talking? Peak entertainer energy 😂. Animation on his sly smiles and tricks smooth. Atmosphere shady but fun. His mentalist vibe had me like “this guy’s dangerous but cool”.

Episode 7 introduces Chrome, the village ‘sorcerer,’ whose curiosity about science creates an exciting new dynamic with Senku. Their chemistry is fun, and the idea of rebuilding civilization gains real momentum.

I’m shocked there’s actually a remaining civilization! I really wonder how they managed to evade the beam that turned everyone else to stone. The Senku and Chrome tandem is hilarious yet brilliant—Chrome is living proof that someone will always find science!

Chrome is literally Senku but without the education. dude's been doing science on pure instinct, no newton no einstein. Him having actual chemistry knowledge from trial and error is impressive tho. Animation during the "science battle" was fun. Chrome gonna be a real one fr.

I love where things are going in Dr. Stone. It's getting better and better. I expected the episode to be split between scenes of Yuzuriha with Taiju and Kohaku with Senku traveling the woods. I thought it wouldn't be very exciting since last episode was so good. I was dead wrong.

The Kingdom of Science grows, and you can feel civilization slowly creeping back. Science is officially flexing.

Introducing the village was a brilliant visual shift. I love the tribal-meets-ancient aesthetic. The environment design here is 10/10 for world building.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting just past the first quarter of the season, episode seven marks a deliberate pivot away from the Senku-Tsukasa ideological clash and toward alliance-building, expanding the cast and the scope of the Kingdom of Science. The groundwork laid in earlier episodes — establishing the stone world's rules and the philosophical divide over who deserves revival — now gives way to recruitment and collaboration. This introduction of Chrome as a key ally sets the foundation for the team-driven scientific challenges that will define much of the season's back half.
