I never could have expected the Magma Senku and Chrome trio to be really fun to watch. His blunt behavior contrasts nicely with their methodical behavior, which creates really entertaining interactions. Gen was doing lightwork behind the scenes too!

Magma was great in this episode, I really like that he isn't inherently evil, just like most of the characters in these series - including the antagonists. His characterization in this episode did heavy lifting, with him being both funny and self-sacrificial for the greater good.

WHAT was Chrome doing when they fell πŸ™ He just stood there lol. This episode was alright in general, mostly on character building while still working towards the main goal.

Building a vacuum tube in a cave? Absolute insanity. Watching Senku turn a lightbulb into a radio component is why this show rules. i am losing it "Stone World" cell phone finally lighting up. It’s like ultimate payoff for binging the season

Chrome stepping up made me proud. Gen doing mind games as usual. Senku trusting everyone more shows real growth.

Kohaku swinging her sword when hyped? Warrior queen energy. Animation on her speed and strength insane. Atmosphere fierce and fun. She’s giving main character vibes fr.

Episode 22 pushes the adventure forward as Senku, Chrome, and Magma explore a dangerous cave searching for tungsten for their tech project, leading to tense moments and surprising teamwork. It mixes action, bonding, and a fun exploration vibe.

Pure found family energy. Just a bunch of science geeks being wholesome. The character growth is subtle but so rewarding to watch.

While Senku is gone, the village builds him an observatory for his birthday. So wholesome

A great exploration of character motivation. The background art in the cave scenes is detailed and atmospheric. It feels like a real adventure with actual stakes.

This episode feels emotional and heavy, as the aftermath of the confrontation truly settles in.
Major choices are made that reshape the future of the Stone World and redefine relationships.
I felt a mix of sadness and hope, because while something ends, a new path clearly begins.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting at episode 22 of 24, this is deep into the season's endgame stretch. Following the technological breakthroughs achieved in the village during previous episodes, the focus narrows to acquiring tungsten β€” a critical missing ingredient for whatever Senku's grand plan demands next. This resource-gathering mission directly feeds into 'Wave of Science' and the final push of the season, making it an essential bridge between preparation and payoff.
