Episode Context

As the first episode of a 24-episode season, 'Stone World' is pure foundation, establishing the petrification event, the core duo of Senku and Taiju, and the scope of the challenge ahead. Nothing precedes it, and everything builds from here. The next episode, 'King of the Stone World,' escalates immediately as the pair begins working to revive others and confront the realities of rebuilding civilization from zero.
