Episode Context

Arriving at episode 23 of 25, this installment steps away from the ensemble supernatural chaos of the preceding episode, which saw Tsutomu exploring the Hellish Yokai Villa and Kapaeru tangling with Sunekozou, to deliver a more intimate, standalone-leaning story. It represents the series taking a breath before its final stretch, grounding the supernatural in personal human experience. The episode feeds directly into episode 24, 'Yokai Fish Kichigairyuu,' maintaining the anthology-style rhythm of human-yokai encounters that defines the season's closing arc.
