Episode Context

Sitting at episode 11 of 25, this installment arrives just past the season's midpoint approach and follows the Yokai Patrol's encounter with the vengeful Kyuusuichou in Episode 10. Like the episodes surrounding it, 'Yokai Amejorou' operates as a self-contained story reinforcing the squad's core mission, tracking down rogue yokai threatening the human world, without dramatically reshaping the status quo. It's a solid representative episode of the series' episodic structure rather than a pivotal turning point.
