It's rare for an anime to maintain this much intensity toward the end. The confrontation between the family members was so emotional and dark. I didn't expect it to get that personal.

This is everything a penultimate episode should be. The action is brutal, the symbolism is THICK. The only drawback is some janky animation in non fight scenes, MAPPA's second cour curse showing. But the brothers' final clash? Cinema.

Hyakkimaru’s internal battle feels just as strong as the physical one. With every glance and pause carries weight. And Dororo's presence feels important in this scene.
