I loved the interactions in this one. It's wholesome seeing Hyakkimaru try to act more human, even if it's awkward. The world-building around the local myths was a nice touch.

The production is still suffering from MAPPA's second cour curse, janky animation in spots, weird pacing . But the STORY is back. Jukai's return adds so much weight. The "mama" moment is PEAK (no ur tearing up).

The outside world grows more chaotic, and you can feel the pressure building. War isn’t just background noise anymore. Hyakkimaru feels more intense, more driven. Dororo’s loyalty stands out in the middle of all that instability.
