Dororo starts with a gloomy atmosphere and powerful storytelling. MAPPA shines in the action, but the best part is the moral dilemma. The contrast between Dororo’s vitality and Hyakkimaru’s void is fascinating. A raw, visually flawless, and essential beginning.

The fire at the temple was a total visual spectacle. Watching Hyakkimaru fight while everything was burning around him looked incredible, and the twist with the orphan was pretty sad.

Slower episode but necessary setup. Sabame's creepy as hell,props to the VA for selling that dead inside energy. The weight about "what happens after" is interesting but the pacing drags in the middle. That baby demon carrying Dororo around is both hilarious and disturbing ngl.
