En had it rough in the past due to his Magic, but he is able to rise from below and reach to the top which is pretty amazing. This episode also reveals the reason why En is obsessed with a time controlling Sorcerer. Fun episode especially at the end with the pie contest as well.

En’s backstory really changes how you see him. You start to understand his side, which makes things more interesting. At the same time, the episode still keeps its weird humor. It’s a mix of serious and funny, and somehow it works really well.

En's origin story hits. lowkey one of the most compelling villain backstories in recent anime. just when you thought you knew who to root for, Dorohedoro flips the whole thing on you

i find this episode hilarious and also cute. it also gives more slower and more reflective and more clarity of story while the whole thing was messy. This episode will help you understand the overall situation better

En's very own movie backstory is very dramatic and ferocious but it's inspiring! Kaiman's dressed as his boss Wife just to sell delicious pie is very RIDICULOUS! 😂

Yeah this one hits—everything stacking up. Characters actually feel important now. Not perfect pacing but strong impact. 💀

Kaiman dressing up as Tanba's wife to sneak into En's place? hilarious and also kinda sweet. Nikaido is stuck there because En needs her time magic. the whole thing is messy. Risu is still in the picture. this show keeps getting weirder. 👗

EPISODE CONTEXT

Episode 11 directly escalates from Episode 10's pivotal confrontations — Nikaido's encounter with En and Caiman's pursuit of answers through the Cross-Eyes — by deepening both threads and raising the personal stakes for the core cast. As the penultimate episode of a 12-episode season, it functions as the critical setup piece, locking characters into position and intensifying conflicts that the finale must resolve. Everything here is designed to tighten the narrative threads before the season's climactic payoff.
