📖 SYNOPSIS
In her sixteenth year, Dongguo Xiaojie's life is upended when her mother contracts a "Grave Illness." Desperate to save her, Dongguo Xiaojie ventures into the unknown, embarking on a perilous journey. She is not alone; her sworn elder brother, Mo Zixuan, joins her, offering protection and companionship. Along the way, they encounter the mysterious youth known as Life's Hardship, whose motives remain unclear. However, their journey is fraught with danger, as they are repeatedly attacked by individuals they meet. This constant threat raises questions about the true nature of their quest and the hidden conspiracy that lies beneath the surface.
