Overall, the show was quite enjoyable, and there was plenty of fan service to go around. However, it definitely leaves some room for improvement regarding the combat animation and choreography, especially since the pacing during the fight scenes feels a little too fast.

I don't know if I should be disappointed or amazed that the combat and overall animation isn't great, but the animation during the princess's performance is actually really good, right down to all the fine details on the stage.

They have been teasing the mystery of the holy sword since the start of the show, so I was fully anticipating a spectacular payoff for the big reveal. It is a bit disappointing that it turned out to be so basic, and the lack of high-quality animation when they actually swing the sword just makes the whole moment feel underwhelming.

The plot, the world-building, and the overall tension are all actually really good, but I think they just didn't invest enough in the animation quality during the fights. The way the soldiers are eliminated after getting hit by an AOE skill feels like it was recycled. I am looking for the kind of animation quality we got during that first fight between Leo, the hero, and Eclair.

The start of the war is finally here. I was genuinely afraid for the princess back there. It is more evident than ever that the stakes have never been this high, especially since we can see the enemy resorting to underhanded tactics that outright violate the rules of war. Let's see what other strategies they have come up with to handle this.

This was a great world-building episode as we got to see both sides making big decisions. The stakes feel even higher this time around. I am thinking that maybe she did this in order to protect the two of them, and also to force the other two to get stronger so they can avoid the future she foresaw.

This feels like a day in the life of a summoned hero. There is not much action, but it just focuses on the hero's personal moments, especially with the ladies. This is honestly to be expected since it is set right after the war and the princess's concert. Still, I would like it way better if they pick up the pacing in the next episode so that the plot can actually develop and keep us hooked.

This was more than just a wholesome episode. Using it to build up tension right before the concert was a great choice because it will make the actual performance feel that much more impactful for the viewers. While the world-building is a bit predictable, one really noticeable highlight in this episode is how quickly the hero adapts to battle and learns on the fly to utilize his spells much more effectively.

I am really surprised by how quickly the pacing and tension ramped up in this episode, and I absolutely love it. The design concept for the seals is amazing, they look incredibly cool and refreshing to see every single time a new fighter is introduced. It actually makes me genuinely excited just to see what the next seal design is going to look like.

This episode feels like the exact breather we needed, and because it still provides important context, you definitely can't consider it a filler. It serves as a much-needed break to slow things down, giving us a chance to watch the hero familiarize himself with his new surroundings and learn exactly how things work in this country

It's really amazing how they turned things around after the bad animation in the first episode and significantly raised the quality for this second one. The animation looks incredibly good, especially during that high-stakes battle, and the choreography is so smooth. Plus, the bonus fan service was a really nice touch!

Great introduction to the anime! The very first scene really sets things up perfectly by showing just how high the stakes are for the entire country. The background music is also excellent, especially during the final part of the episode. While I was a little confused at first about how the battles actually work, it all became much clearer to me after the conversation between the princess and the summoned hero.

The finale wrapped things up perfectly 🐶 Cinque saying goodbye to everyone was emotional. Millhiore's confession scene hit different. Ricotta finding a way to bring him back gave me hope. The post-credits reunion moment was beautiful. A satisfying end to a fun first season.

Cinque asking Ricotta to hide the truth from everyone broke my heart 😭 Him not wanting to send them off with sad faces is so in character. The four conditions for returning home are brutal. Everyone being happy while he carries that weight alone is painful. This show is way more emotional than I expected.

Millhiore's concert at the end was beautiful 🎤 The way the episode brought everyone together after the darkness was so satisfying. Yukikaze adopting the fox cub is sweet. Cinque being a hero who saves people without killing is refreshing. This show's "happily ever after" vibes are immaculate.

The monster being a corrupted fox cub is so sad 🦊 Millhiore learning the truth while being held captive was intense. Cinque chasing after her while using every trick he knows was hype. The flashback showing how the cub got corrupted was heartbreaking. This arc is emotional in a way I didn't expect.

Cinque riding a flying board made of flames looks so cool 🔥 Leonmitchelli being the strict older sister type is great. Millhiore's concert prep being a race against time was fun. The festival atmosphere after the battle is so wholesome. This show makes war look like a carnival and I love it.

Something creepy is approaching and I'm stressed 😨 Brioche and Yukikaze sensing it before anyone else is ominous. Millhiore finally confronting Leonmitchelli directly was intense. The battle this episode was visually stunning. The calm before whatever is coming has me nervous.

Leonmitchelli challenging Biscotti to another battle feels desperate 😰 Millhiore accepting without knowing the full reason is stressful. The tension between the two princesses is clearly hiding something deeper. Gaul being excited to fight Cinque again is hilarious. This arc is getting serious.

Millhiore's stargazing powers are way deeper than I expected 🌟 The way she chose Cinque specifically because of his athletic ability is sweet. Leonmitchelli's ominous vision about an upcoming threat is concerning. The lore about the Hero's destiny is getting interesting. This show has more depth than it lets on.
