Dog Days

📖 SYNOPSIS

Dog Days follows Cinque Izumi, a half-Japanese, half-English boy, who is unexpectedly transported to the world of Flonyard. This world is inhabited by humanoids with animal ears and tails. He is summoned by Princess Millhiore of the Biscotti Republic to aid them in their conflict with the Galette Lion Army. These conflicts are unique; they resemble sporting competitions with no fatalities, primarily serving to generate funds for participating kingdoms. After winning his first battle, Cinque discovers he is unable to return home, a fact unbeknownst to Millhiore. Biscotti's scientists work to find a solution while he commits to fighting for them for 16 days, before having to return to his original world. Later, he is summoned back to Flonyard multiple times and participates in more adventures, forming close friendships with other summoned heroes such as his cousin and rival, Nanami Takatsuki (Galette's hero), and Rebecca Anderson (Pastillage's hero).
