EPISODE REVIEWS

A pensive portrayal of the aftermath for digimon abandoned by their owners. I always thought that Kyo always keeps to himself for the most part which is lwk suspicious but this bit somewhat cleared that out as well.

The concept of digimon going feral from abandonment… now I’m sad

Episode Context

Coming off Episode 6's exploration of familial bonds and parental responsibility, Episode 7 pivots sharply into secrecy and fractured trust, using Kyo Sawashiro's hidden activities as the catalyst for deeper group conflict. This is a connective episode that transforms the emotional groundwork of earlier installments into genuine interpersonal stakes. It directly sets the stage for Episode 8, 'The Vanishing Classroom,' where the fallout from these revelations collides with an entirely new mystery.
