Episode Context

Episode 47, "The Ultimate Power," pushed Glowing Dawn into Apraxas to save Asuka Tenma, with Tomoro Tenma facing Chairman Oh and Genjo Kaneda. Episode 48 carries that endgame conflict forward by shifting to Sanzomon's revealed objective and Tomoro's group confronting Seiten Gokuumon. The season's closing episode follows directly, leaving the competing futures imagined by humans and Digimon still in play.
