Reina and Bearcatmon are just amazing, love them!

the ideological debate between tomoro and reina remains structurally consistent with their established characterization. furthermore kyo demonstrating highly capable leadership effectively grounds the tactical narrative. however the overall growth arc feels fundamentally unsatisfying due to weak mechanical setups.

the emotional start for reina was honestly just so heavy to watch. i really love how they are leaning into the whole found family dynamic rn tho. seeing them finally reach that warming resolve together just made my heart feel so full. just need the gang to be peaceful and happy

Getting a literal POWER OF FRIENDSHIP evolution right at the end makes absolutely no sense to me. I seriously do not get what pushed her into that besides pure plot armor. but the villain is actually pretty interesting tho and that final cliffhanger scene teasing a secret plan has me SO CONFUSED right now.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off Episode 34's escalation of external threats, Episode 35 deliberately shifts the momentum inward, using the breathing room to deepen Reina's arc before the story accelerates again. This episode functions as a character foundation beat — the bonds and personal growth explored here are positioned to pay off directly in the challenges ahead. It's a transitional episode with purpose, bridging the action of the previous stretch into emotionally richer territory.
