READTHROUGH
A Special Delivery
The world of 2050 is introduced, powered by digitized consciousness called E-pulse, which also birthed Digimon. We then see Kashiwagi, a corporate executive, engaged in a tense call about transporting 'toxic substances' for Tamamori Logistics. A delivery girl arrives at his home late, presenting a package with the company logo. Inside, Kashiwagi finds a gruesome doll of himself, bloody and broken, as the girl reveals it predicts his future. The chilling message culminates as Jokermon crashes an armored truck into his home, laughing maniacally amidst the destruction.
Park Practice
Tomoro sits alone in a park gazebo, lost in thought as he practices drumming. He reflects on his struggles and his partner's inability to evolve. Suddenly, Prestimmon pops out of his bag, demanding food and attention, disrupting Tomoro's solemn mood. They engage in a familiar, playful argument about their battle synchronicity, showcasing their chaotic but strong bond.
The Cryptic Stranger
A mysterious girl, Miharu Kagemori, approaches Tomoro and gently lifts Prestimmon, observing his digital form with fascination. She possesses an uncanny ability to see the 'heart of the creator' within digital code and perceive Tomoro's E-pulse. Miharu offers a sharp warning, telling Tomoro to stay away from the local hospital or face a 'cycle of despair.' She disappears as quickly as she arrived, leaving Tomoro unsettled by her cryptic words.
The Investigation Begins
At their base, Leon and his team, Rera and Makoto, watch news reports on the serial attacks, recognizing the strange doll effigies. Makoto's digital investigation confirms Jokermon as the culprit, linking all victims to high-ranking positions in logistics companies. They discover Kashiwagi survived the initial attack and is now at the World Union Hospital. Leon immediately mobilizes the team, suspecting Jokermon will strike there next to finish his 'delivery.'
Hospital Under Attack
Tomoro arrives at the World Union Hospital, feeling a sense of dread, the heavy security confirming his unease. Kashiwagi is wheeled through the lobby, pale and bandaged, but still paranoid. A delivery drone suddenly descends, dropping an explosive crate that shatters the lobby windows, plunging the area into chaos. Jokermon emerges from the smoke, scythe in hand and accomplice giggling beside him, mocking the guards and declaring his final delivery is due.
First Engagement
Tomoro activates his E-pulse, transforming Prestimmon into the powerful, armored Arumarizamon. The dinosaur Digimon roars, launching a 'Neutron Laser' at Jokermon, who casually deflects it with a magical shield. Jokermon proves too agile and unpredictable, using dark energy waves to batter Arumarizamon. Just as Jokermon moves for a finishing blow, Leon and his partner Murasamon intervene, forcing the clown to retreat. Rera and Makoto arrive, but Jokermon taunts them before vanishing into purple smoke with his accomplice.
The Interrogation and Second Strike
Leon and Tomoro question Kashiwagi in his secure room, pressing him about his 'toxic substances' cargo. Kashiwagi is defensive, claiming it was merely data waste, but his composure cracks under Leon's accusations. The delivery accomplice, disguised as a nurse, then enters, giving Kashiwagi a doll that immediately explodes. Chaos erupts as alarms blare, and the accomplice escapes through a window. The team regroups, realizing the hospital's security is compromised, and the threat has moved deeper within the facility.
The Grand Finale
Amidst the chaos, Miharu Kagemori reappears, guiding Tomoro to the hospital's adjacent parking structure roof where Jokermon awaits. Jokermon stands triumphant, his scythe glowing, welcoming Tomoro to his 'grand finale.' Arumarizamon attempts an attack, but Jokermon creates multiple digital duplicates, making physical engagement impossible. The villain then reveals his true horror: the underground levels are rigged with explosive trucks, ready to level the entire hospital complex, and a digital countdown begins.
Monarkrimmon's Intervention
Tomoro refuses to yield, channeling all his resolve into Arumarizamon for a second, more powerful evolution. Monarkrimmon emerges, a towering cybernetic dinosaur with immense power and technical precision. Monarkrimmon charges into the parking lot, easily destroying Jokermon's illusions and securing the explosive trucks. Jokermon's desperate counterattacks are useless against Monarkrimmon's armor, who then unleashes a concentrated 'Grand Beam' from its mouth. The beam disintegrates Jokermon's scythe and pierces his digital core, reducing him to data and leaving behind a small, frightened Mokumon, as the accomplice weeps over his remains.
The Truth Revealed
Leon and the team inspect the secured trucks, discovering them not filled with waste, but hundreds of captured Digimon in containment units. Leon reveals that these Digimon were being processed as 'energy waste' by the World Union, under the guise of 'toxic substances,' horrifying Tomoro. Leon expresses his own guilt, realizing that Kashiwagi was just a pawn in a far larger, systemic exploitation of digital life. As the sun sets, Tomoro vows to fight the World Union's inhumane practices, with Miharu Kagemori watching from a distance, cementing their new, dangerous mission.
EPISODE REVIEWS

Competent setup episode, though somewhat rushed pacing. Jokermon's introduction is well-executed, establishing clear threat level. However, the girl character's arc feels underdeveloped, her motivations remain unclear. Promising foundation, but needs stronger narrative cohesion.

yo who that girl, jokermon's cool i guess but i'm more invested in figuring out what's with that girl honestly. kinda reminds me of how they did the suspicion thing in 02 but way more intense

jokermon lowkey scary bro giving me internet groomer vibes he reminds me of the myotismon era but worse somehow. i'm here for the action and this ep delivered on that, pumped to see what happens next yay
