Tomoro and the crew end up taking a little detour and kick back on this fancy cruise. Out of nowhere, they run into Handa and his partner Starmon.

A bit of a filler episode after the latest one but still has it's place. Examining the makings of a hero and truly makes one whether that be rising above fear for the greater good, or acting despite it. All in all a very solid episode

the deconstruction of manufactured heroism here is surprisingly effective. stripping a character of their perceived power to reveal genuine resolve creates a satisfying emotional core. the shift from the relaxed opening into the central conflict was paced perfectly.

bro star-man stepping up despite literally everything being fake is PEAK. i was laughing so hard at them losing all their bounty money to damage claims at the end lmao. lowkey the most wholesome but chaotic ep we've had in a minute!

After defeating Klay, our heroes get a well deserved rest on luxurious ship, but what was meant to be a relaxing holiday with pool, lots of sleep and the show of the popular hero Starman evolves to a dangerous situation when an evil Digimon hijacks the place.

The Glowing Dawn crew going from luxury cruise to massive debt in one episode is peak comedy. Guess they gotta find more bounties

Starmon really went through it this episode but seeing him step up for those kids was awesome. I loved how Makoto stayed by his side

That moment when Makoto just straight up calls out Handa for faking his heroics was perfect and the absolute highlight for me.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting at episode 25, this episode lands at a natural inflection point in a long-running season arc — far enough in for the stakes to feel personal, but positioned to challenge the progress made so far rather than celebrate it. Following the momentum built through episodes like 'Overlapping Beats,' this entry appears to interrogate whether the protagonist is genuinely ready for what lies ahead. It reads as essential setup for a second-half push, making it a key episode to not skip.
