The battle is the main focus here, and Tomoro is back into the Mirror World.

Reito’s mindset is unsettling and I’m wondering if Tomoro’s growth will stick this time

WHY DOES HE NEVER LISTEN. Tomoro is infuriating but also too kind for his own good. I’m exhausted.

Episode Context

Coming off the revelations of 'Black Market Auction' and the Glowing Dawn team's exposure of illicit Digimon dealings, episode 20 pivots sharply to Tomoro's individual ordeal, testing him in isolation within the Mirror World's coliseum. This chapter deepens the series' character dynamics, particularly the Tomoro-Raito relationship, while expanding the scope of the Mirror World's threats. It lays critical groundwork for the escalating human-Digimon conflicts and character developments that the back half of the series builds upon.
