A new character entry, namely Kyo Sawashiro, who is the Leader of the Glowing Dawn. The pacing slows down a lot for this one, and it's more explanation focused and shows how Digimon fits into this high tech world.

This episode expands the world properly like the cleaner group introduction was necessary. To me it feels like the story is trying to balance grief with exposition

Episode Context

Coming directly off the premiere's explosive first contact between Tomoro and Gekkomon, 'Glowing Dawn' serves as a critical bridge episode, transitioning from pure spectacle into the mechanics of how this world actually works and introducing key players like Kyo Sawashiro and his Cleaner Team. It expands the scope beyond Tomoro's personal experience to reveal a society already grappling with the Digimon phenomenon. The groundwork laid here feeds directly into Episode 3, 'Facing Mirrors,' which promises to push character relationships further and dig into the mysteries surrounding e-Pulse.
